Sorry, lost focus there. But: You must beware. She is ultimately loyal to her emperor, and her clan. As for you, only she really knows. So just know you’re rolling the dice on whether you’ll have the smartest, hottest, most resourceful girlfriend in all Rokugan, or whether she’ll pull a poison-filled squirt-gun that shoots knives and irritable scorpions on you from… somewhere. You’re attention was sort of fixed elsewhere.
As testiment to her skills of perception and stabbing, there were four attempted assassination attempts during our photoshoot that she thwarted with her hairpins. All without mussing up her makeup, or detaching any of the copious amount of double-stick tape.
Looking back, we should have noticed there was something wierd about having a boom operator on a photo set. Or a poison dart booth.

Jason Behnke - Heaven’s Blessing
My way of making up to the Mantis their lack of a guy in the 10k Cards. Yoritomo was slated to be in CoM Originally and Jason and I talked excitedly about him doing it. But we got out voted and my second favorite Tsuruchi got the final slot. But I was way too excited at the idea of a Jason Yoritomo after all these years. I love this picture a lot. ^_^
Steve Argyle - Hida O-Ushi
A young O-Ushi looks out over the wall. I really love this piece. I’ve notice like one or two people being critical of it on the forums. Which is weird to me honestly. I get some of the things people are saying about Kachiko, really I do, my own ideas differed from Steve on that one. But O-Ushi is pretty much right inline with her Exp 2. Is she posing with her weapon? Yeah sure, fairly common in a lot of our personality cards regardless of gender.
While I can’t claim any credit for art directing Steve’s work this set, Both were 100% him in CoM. I really get behind O-Ushi all the way. She’s on the wall ready to get her day going which means crushing some oni skulls.
