Anonymous asked: why are more female monks not bald? shouldn't most monks have shaved heads, regardless of gender? I've seen other western-ized depictions of eastern monks do this too, but while I've seen many female buddhist monks, never have I seen one with hair longer than a few millimeters. I will admit they often look like guys anyway, I just have seen none of that from L5R.
